Children's Parties

Intensive Riding Courses

Intensive Riding Courses are simply another way of learning to ride with the lessons being packed into a shorter time span similar to when someone takes intensive driving lessons. Normally one to one tuition is arranged either for a number of days together or half day sessions rather than just an hour. Half Day Riding Camps

Riding Camps are great for all levels of rider as they offer a riding lesson, horse care lecture, stable management lecture plus a ride in picturesque Hyde Park. Half day camps run from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm daily with children grouped in terms of age. Two children per teacher mean your child will receive plenty of attention, while hats and boots are provided in with the cost.

Pony Club

Many parents choose to enrol their child in the Pony Club as not only does it have a social side that your child will really enjoy but also means they will practice more and gain more experience too. Annual membership only costs £22.00 which is great as children will study for tests and badges as they ride. Application forms are available from the club.

Hen Parties

Many ladies prefer to do something different when they are thinking of organising a hen party rather than simply going to town in order to get drunk. Here at Hyde Park hen parties are catered for and offer an hours riding, riding hats and boots free, offer catering if required and riding for up to sixteen riders who will split into two separate groups for their riding session.

The Lee Valley Riding Centre is located in London E10 area and is British Horse Society approved. Lee Valley offer riding lessons for all abilities including complete beginners, while their five star livery services are second to none. Riders can book group or private lessons and Lee Valley even offer evening courses and cater for birthday parties too.

This superb riding centre offers two outdoor floodlit arenas as well as an indoor arena and children will love the centres Own a Pony days where kids can go along to learn all about grooming, handling, fitting saddles plus enjoy a pony riding lesson all in one package. Have a Go Lessons

These riding sessions are available to book for those new to riding offering them the opportunity to ride a horse, maybe for the first time, without fear as the atmosphere is relaxed and takes safety very seriously. All the ponies and horses are well trained so no worries on that score, while riders will have a go at getting onto the horse and even trotting around. Participants can borrow hats and boots so they can determine whether riding is for them without any initial outlay too. Children age five to fifteen are catered for either after school or at weekends.

Learn to Ride Courses for Children and Adults

Learn to Ride courses are twelve weeks long and are aimed at complete novices to enable them to learn how to ride in groups making it much more fun as it gives the beginner the feeling of "we are all new to this" rather than being the newbie on their own. Boots and hats are provided and once you have completed the course you will receive a certificate. Adults and children learn separately, while each session is an hour long.

Group or Private Lessons

Private lessons are available to book all week long, while dressage and jumping lessons are also catered for privately. Those riders who are experienced may also wish to consider a cross country jumping course. Group lessons run on weekday evenings and weekends throughout the year and are offered for beginners through to advanced riders. Group jumping lessons are also catered for here

Riding Lessons for the Disabled

Located on the Isle of Dogs this British Horse Society approved centre offers an all-weather floodlit arena along with show jumping facilities and cross country riding too.

Gillian's provides specially trained horses that are suitable for those with learning or physical disabilities to ride.
